Because we understand that Skills Testing can be challenging, and in an effort to be sure students show up fully prepared, we also offer EMT Psychomotor Skills Test Training. This training session is intended to help you prepare for EMT Skills Testing. It is a full day of training that focuses on the necessary steps to perform your skills in a testing format.
Skills Training sessions are dedicated to teaching the skills to the EMT student. During these sessions, an instructor will go over not just the skills testing but also the steps on how to perform the skill. Students will utilize the skills equipment to refresh and learn the skills. During this session, there may not be enough time to go over every skills so attention should be spent on those skills you are least familiar with. This session does not meet the requirements for the 2017 EMT Scope of Practice course completion certification.
If you do not feel you are prepared to test, we offer Skills Test Training a week before the testing to help you prepare for your tests.
We also offer Package Deals that include Skills Testing and EMT Psychomotor Skills Test Training.
Skills Training awards 8 EMS-CEs for those seeking recertification.

Loading Classroom Dates…Safety Unlimited offers Private EMT Skills Training or Tutoring for EMTs who need training outside our regularly scheduled sessions. There is a 2-hour minimum, and the hourly rate is billable in one-hour increments. For example, a 2-hour and 20 minute session will be billed at 3 hours. The rates for this service are as follows:
