Safety Unlimited, Inc is an American Heart Association Training Site and offers a full range of CPR, First Aid, and Instructor courses.
These classes can be taken at one of our training facilities or at your workplace. We also offer on site training for groups, clubs, school, and associations.
ACLS is for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies and for personnel in emergency response. Additional cost of $46.49 is added for current textbook if student does not possess the current edition (in person class only)
This is an in-person training session for Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for renewal. Student must show proof of current certification. HeartCode® ACLS is the AHA’s blended learning delivery method for the AHA’s ACLS Course. Blended learning is a combination of eLearning, in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner, followed by a hands-on session. HeartCode® ACLS is a self-directed, comprehensive eLearning program that uses eSimulation technology to allow students to assess and treat patients in virtual healthcare settings. To enter the course, students must complete a precourse self-assessment. Students will then be presented with a team dynamic lesson and 10 In-hospital patient cases, including a BLS case and 2 megacode cases.
Before attendance of a ACLS Instructor-led hands-on skills session, students must successfully complete the online portion, including the course exam. Students must present their current completion certificate before entry into an Instructor-led hands-on session.
PALS is geared towards healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children and for personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course. Additional cost of $55.12 is added for current textbook if student does not possess the current edition(for in person class only)

In this environment, students apply their knowledge to real-time decision-making and skills development. Blended learning requires follow-up with hands-on skills training.
