The primary focus of the Advanced Emergency Medical Technician is to provide basic and limited advanced emergency medical care and transportation for critical and emergent patients who access the emergency medical system. This individual possesses the basic knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care and transportation.
Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians function as part of a comprehensive EMS response, under medical oversight. Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians perform interventions with the basic and advanced equipment typically found on an ambulance. The Advanced Emergency Medical Technician is a link from the scene to the emergency health care system.

Nationally Registered AEMTs (NREMT) are required to renew their certification every two years. NREMT AEMTs can recertify by either taking the cognitive examination or by completing continuing education.
Our 50 Hour (F3) NCCP AEMT Refresher provides all the continuing education needed for those currently certified by NREMT. We encourage you to reference the specific license renewal requirements for every state which you are licensed to practice.
This F3 training consists of 50 Hours of Distributed Learning (F3) which is entirely distributed learning, as detailed on each component.
This course also includes certification for Hazmat First Responder Awareness (FRA) Training in accordance with Federal OSHA Regulation 29 CFR 1910.120(q)(6)(i) and State OSHA HAZWOPER requirements. This FRA course is specifically geared toward EMS Responders.
Students will receive 3 certificates of completion for this class as they complete each portion. One for the National Component, one for the State/Local Component, and one for the Individual Component.

This 25 Hour F3 NCCP National Component AEMT Refresher course meets the NREMT National Component requirement for recertification.
This course also meets the requirement for those persons who failed the NREMT AEMT Exam 3 times and must take an AEMT Refresher Course to retest, or those who have an expired NREMT AEMT certification and need to take an AEMT Refresher Course to retest.
This F3 training consists of 25 Hours of Distributed Learning (F3) which is entirely online.
Students can take each section in any order they choose. Completing a section unlocks the exam associated with that section. Each exam consists of 10 questions randomly selected from a larger pool of questions. An 80% score or better is required to pass each exam. Students who do not pass the exam the first time may retake the exam as many times as necessary in order to pass.
