State of California EMTs
This course counts as the required 24 hours of EMS Continuing Education (CE) for current or expired (within the past 2 years) EMTs in California. This course is based upon the EMT Refresher topics as outlined in the National EMS Curriculum.
Also needed is a valid CPR certification and California EMT Skills Testing, which can be provided by any certified EMS-CE instructor in your area.

Each State EMS Agency establishes it's own specific EMT certification requirements many of which simply utilize the certification process of the NREMT (see below for how this course applies to NREMTs).

Currently Certified NREMTs
NREMT has recently updated their recertification requirements. Effective immediately, all Nationally Certified EMS personnel due to recertify in 2019, or after, are required to utilize the National Continued Competency Program (NCCP).
We are currently retooling this course in order to assist EMS personnel to meet these program requirements.

Following the completion of all training content and achievement of passing scores on all exams, students will need to complete a brief evaluation and confirm his/her identity. After doing so, the student will have access to the course completion certificate.
Because this course is being taken as C.E. there are NO EXAMS for this training. However, in lieu of exams, students must describe at least 3 objectives learned from each Module.
Students are required to explain their answer in detail. All answers must be in complete sentences and thoughts. Each learned objective must have at least 75 characters of text, with a maximum of 1000.
